Book Discussions

In-person book discussion

You are invited to join in one of our many in-person or online book discussions that take place several times each month. In our book discussion groups we read and talk about both fiction and non-fiction books. We express our opinions (both likes and dislikes!) with other avid readers in the city.

Do you know about #currentlyreading on IndyPL's Facebook page? You can join in with other readers on Facebook on Sunday nights when we host #currentlyreading. It is a great group to help find what to read next!

Would you rather DIY your own book group? You lead the club, we'll provide the books! If you prefer to host your own book discussion or book club, check out an IndyPL Book Club In a Bag Kit. Choose from over 125 titles for your book club! Each kit contains 10 copies of the same title with a 6-week checkout period and book club guides with discussion questions! Learn more here.
